We are a political group campaigning for the Equal Opportunity to Govern Amendment which would repeal the Natural-born Clause from the US Constitution. The natural-born clause states that only people who are citizens of the United States by birth may become President, meaning that no matter how the public votes, if the candidate was not born an American, he/she cannot be President. We believe this amendment goes against the principles that made America great and want it changed. READ MORE>>

The current law is outdated and unjust; the American people should have the right to choose their leader, be the candidate born a citizen or not. READ IN FULL>>

Why we need to repeal the natural-born clause
With all the pressing and important issues facing our country today, it’s easy to overlook the need to repeal the natural-born citizen clause and fight for electoral equality. Electoral equality isn’t the most pressing issue, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t important, and it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t take action and fight for it. Repealing the natural-born citizen clause doesn’t require money, it won’t take funding from government projects, and it doesn’t conflict with other programs.
